Voice Attunement for Therapists™ workshop…

Voice is an integral part of the therapeutic process. When therapists are not aware of their own voices, they can undermine their intention. When they are not aware of their clients’ voices, they can miss important cues. Through lecture and practicum, this training will attune therapists to ways in which voice reveals, informs and helps guide effective practice.

This workshop will help you to 1) Build awareness of voice as communication; 2) Learn to use voice intentionally and effectively; 3) Use vocal cues to hear clients with greater attunement; 4) Enhance capacity to join, support and, when appropriate, interrupt your clients; and 5) Expand facility to design and fine-tune therapeutic interventions

Naaz Hosseini is a NYS Licensed Psychoanalyst with a private psychotherapy and supervision practice in Nyack, New York working with individuals, couples, and groups. She is former Referral Director of the Gestalt Center of Psychotherapy and Training and Supervisor at the Columbia Teachers College Department of Counseling and Psychology. She offers courses and training in voice attunement for therapists. Naaz developed Powerful Presence Coaching to train entrepreneurs and other professionals to own their voices and communicate with confidence, clarity, and ease.
